Recently I attended a sports medicine summit as a member of the provider team for USA Beach Volleyball.  I am indebted to Iowayna Pena, ATC for introducing the “Lelli Test” for ACL injuries to our group.  This video shows Dr. Lelli performing his test.  We’ve used this in clinic since the summit and found it to be quite useful.  It can be used on the field to assess acute injury as well as pre-op and post-op as Dr. Lelli demonstrates.  Do not watch this video if you are squeamish about seeing a patient who is unconscious, draped (fully!) and prepped for knee surgery.
