Tension, Stress, Insomnia and Fatigue

The clinical research on stress is vast and ever-expanding. Hormones are released in response to stress that negatively affect muscles, the heart, the digestive tract, the joints and about every tissue and organ system you can name. When you’re stressed you don’t sleep restfully. Free radicals are released that speed up the aging process.  Without a good night’s sleep your body can’t repair. Tension turns into chronic pain.  Immune function is suppressed, and resistance to illness is compromised. A vicious cycle develops and, finding no abnormalities on x-ray or with lab tests, many people begin to rely on medication just to get by. “Life in the fast lane” has never been faster!  Unrecognized stress acts as a silent thief that visits day after day,  slowly stealing away your health, vitality and balance.

Increasingly Americans do NOT want to rely on drugs.  As a culture we are seeking alternative ways move our health to higher ground naturally. Our multidisciplinary staff of providers is equipped to work together with you to identify and effectively address the root causes of stress, tension, fatigue and insomnia naturally, without drugs or injections.

For over 25 years we have been helping our patients “kiss bad stress goodbye” and recapture health and well-being at The Center for Spine, Sport & Physical Medicine.  By combining highly skilled massage therapy, acupuncture, herbal and natural (non-pharmaceutical) medicines, gentle chiropractic care, and cutting-edge electrotherapeutic technology we can help you rediscover sleep-enriched, pain free living.  By solving the stress factor once and for all you’ll enjoy more energy and a decidedly more positive outlook on life.  Feeling better physically has a way of lifting us up.  Decide now to get your life back!
